During this week and the past week, I had the opportunity to learn more about manage a business, how to sell more, how to educate kids and not just teaching them and I had the opportunity to learn with Carly Fiorina – Former CEO, HQ – a little more about leadership, and it was a great teaching for me. I would like to share somethings that I learned here in my blog. For Carly Leadership is about three things, 1- Capability, 2- Collaboration, 3- Character. Some weeks ago I was worry about productivity in my life, what affects directly my family and business and if affect family and business affect others that are around me. So I started reviewing some teachings that I received while I was studying some time ago. I learned about the Productivity Pyramid (in the book The Ministry Of Business) where the base of it are the Governing values. These are important values that each of us desire for our lives. I realize something very interesting, all of us have inestimable value, but when we have to think what values are important to our lives it gets difficult to put it in order, and it gets more difficult yet when I realize that I didn´t have any goals related to that value that is important to my life. Or in other words I had a lot of goals with no meaning, goals that I had, but I didn´t know exactly what effect it would have in my life, or empty goals. How to make meaningful goals? Sometimes.....  actually, I'm constantly being tested, to do what is right. Making choices it's part of everyone's life, but we have to agree that the time you will take to choose, exactly this intersection between situation and decision, is the most agonizing parte of our life. What will I do?! What way should I choose? Or yet, what decision to take? The answer is simple but sometimes difficult, bitter, uncomfortable or sometimes we feel tempted to say, impossible. Deep down in our soul we always know the answer and what we have to do. DO WHAT IS RIGHT! You have to choose now to do the right thing. If you choose it today, tomorrow will be easier and you will minimize your agony. Once a decision is taken, the concequence is chosen. Action and reaction eternal law.

          This week I had the opportunity to read the article from Charles Handy from the Harvard Business School. I liked his approach to the question: What´s a business for? because sometimes we as entrepreneurs just start a business thinking about money and profit, to became rich and to have a very comfortable life, but we usually don´t think about the people we will need to arrive where we want to.           He said: "Markets rely on rules and laws, but those rules and laws in turn depend on truth and trust.Conceal truth or erode trust, and the game becomes so unreliable that no one will want to play." Integrity and virtue in business is vital to be Independent for the creation of our own wealth. This week I had the opportunity to read many articles about how to handle with money, I will share here about the article called: Attitude On Money from Stephen W. Gibson, and three fundamental questions that will align thoughts about money. First question: What is your attitude toward money? Our attitude toward money is very important because it will determine if we are able to gain more or not. Stephen says: "For me, I believe we need to think about and understand money; what it is and how to get it. We cannot go through life saying we don't want to "even think about money." You have to be committed with yourself body and soul to find and follow your heroic Pathway.           Our personalities and desires shape our callings. Each of us has to find out purpose and what we really want to became. We have to ask ourselves: Who am I? Who do I want to become? This questions will clarify our purpose on Earth and our path as leaders, fathers and entrepreneur and when we discover who we are and what is our proposed here we start understanding our path to succeed.           D-E-A-L-I-N-G is one of the most listened word in the entrepreneur daily basis. Sometimes you deal with people, sometimes with products, services, other companies and with the governor, taxes, fines and so on. During our time as entrepreneur we always have the same question; What is the best alternative, the faster, the most economic, and the most ethical decision, without harm our company?
